Safe Stay

Minimising the risk and the safety of our guests and team is our first priority. We have reviewed and adjusted our hotel operations to provide you with a safe stay.

Pre Arrival

You can book your hotel stay online or by calling our Hotel Reservations team. When booking your stay we recommend you familiarise yourself with our Safe Stay guidelines so you understand the measures we have put in place to ensure your safety whilst you are staying with us. If you have any questions about any of our measures then a member of our team will happily provide you with the answers. We highly recommend that you keep up to date with the latest government guidelines; Coronavirus symptoms can be found on the NHS website too. We politely ask that if you're displaying any symptoms, that you call us to postpone your stay. Symptoms include, but are not limited to: a high temperature, new or persistent cough or loss of smell and taste. Social distancing guidance and measures will be available in each of the rooms to enable a safe passage around our facilities throughout your stay. When walking around the property and using our facilities, we would be very grateful if you could please use your discretion and consideration by keeping a social distance between yourself and other people, where possible. We wish you a comfortable stay. If you have booked directly with us we will contact you prior to your arrival with all the necessary information about your stay and update you on any of our guidance.

Arrival and Check-In

You’ll find signs in place when you arrival at the hotel to help you find your way around. There are further signs throughout the hotel (and other facilities) detailing our safety measures, to protect you and our team. Protective Perspex screens have been installed in the reception and bar areas to allow us all to keep our distance. Sanitising and cleaning stations are provided at all entrances, reception areas and common areas. We ask that you use these before entering the hotel and common areas, whilst adhering to the new directional signs in place that help control the flow of people in the buildings. If you have any special requirements, please let us know prior to your arrival, so we can make the necessary preparations.

Our check-in time remains at 15:00; the check-in process has been streamlined to allow for a faster experience. Please note that only debit or credit cards may be accepted for the foreseeable future. Once you have checked in, our friendly reception team will give you a sanitised key to your room and direct you to your room. You’re more than welcome to use the lifts that are regularly cleaned throughout.

Hotel Bedrooms

Every guest bedroom and en-suite is fully cleaned and sanitised using an X-Mist™ atmospheric sanitiser before each stay; the door is sealed with our clean seal to ensure no contamination occurs prior to your arrival. Our housekeeping teams have all been provided with appropriate PPE that will be used when they're cleaning the hotel bedrooms. Fabric items such as: mattresses, pillows, cushions, carpet, chairs and other furniture are sprayed with an approved sanitising solution. Information on the chemicals that are used throughout your stay will be provided at check in for guests to review. All room surfaces are thoroughly wiped down and cleaned prior to your arrival with: linens, towels and robes professionally washed on a high heat for added sanitisation.

Our Team Members

All team members have been trained in our new procedures and guidance. They have also been issued with PPE to ensure your safe stay. Our staff and office space has been reorganised to allow for social distancing - with cleaning stations and up to date coronavirus information and guidance. Prior to the teams return, complete training was undertaken and shift patterns reviewed across all departments; ongoing training is scheduled to introduce any new guidance released by the Government. Upon arrival for their shift, all our team will have their temperature checked; should any team member show any symptoms of coronavirus they will be immediately sent home and will be required to self isolate for 14 days, or take a test before returning to work.

The Clean Crew

Throughout your stay and the use of our facilities, you'll see our Clean Crew implementing our new cleanliness guidance and carrying out regular checks of all the facilities, with disposable cleaning materials, to ensure no cross contamination. A viricidal cleaning agent is used to ensure that all touchpoints are regularly cleaned and sanitised. The Clean Crew will ensure that all sanitising stations are maintained, and bedrooms are checked and sealed with our clean seal. Overnight cleaning will take place when the facilities are closed to ensure all facilities have been deep cleaned ready for your use in the morning.

Use of Facilities

During your stay, you will have complimentary access to our health and fitness facilities.

Checking Out

You will be sent an invoice via email prior to your departure should you not have pre-paid upon check in. You can pay this online or come to reception, where we will be happy to process the payment for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you providing guests with additional sanitising facilities?

Yes, we have set up hand sanitising stations throughout the hotel for you and our facilities. We politely ask you use these when entering and moving around the facilities.

Are your restaurants open?

Yes they are and we have extended our dining spaces, making use of our space and outside terraces, so we can offer you the same dining experience with the added safety measures. When you stay with us you can dine in your room or, where guidance and regulations permit, in the designated dining areas. If you are not staying with us you can still dine with us. All that we ask is that you book your table in advance.

How are you ensuring social distancing is adhered to?

All of our seating and spaces have been reconfigured where possible to ensure social distancing and adherence to government guidance.

How do I check in to the hotel?

Our welcome has changed very little, we have just made it safer, adding perspex screen, mapping out social distancing on the floor and completing any check-in administration where possible before you arrive to allow for a fast and reduced-contact experience. Please also note that we will only be accepting debit and credit cards for the foreseeable future, to avoid the handling of cash.

How will you ensure social distancing is maintained in your public bathrooms?

We ask that guests who are staying with us use the bathrooms in their bedrooms. If you are not staying with us we request that you follow the social distancing measures we have displayed on our signage when using the public bathrooms.

What measures are in place to ensure each bedroom is fully sanitised between guest?

Every guest bedroom and en-suite will be fully sanitised before each stay and sealed to ensure no contamination occurs prior to your arrival. Our cleaning crew have received further health and safety training and will wear the appropriate PPE at all times.

What measures have you put in place with your staff to minimise the spread of Covid-19?

All of our teams have undergone comprehensive hospitality-focused training on how to prevent the contagion of Covid-19. All staff will be temperature checked upon arrival for work and will be required to self-certify that they have not been in contact with anyone with Covid-19 symptoms. Any staff member who shows symptoms will be immediately sent home and will be required to self-isolate for 14 days prior to returning to work. Internal regulations have been introduced that require our staff to wear the appropriate PPE during their shifts and to wash their hands frequently.

What should I do if I think I have Covid-19 and have a visit booked?

We politely request that if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 that you call us to postpone your visit.

What will you do if you think a visitor has Covid-19 in the hotel?

We have the right to refuse entry to the hotel and politely ask any guests or team members to leave who are showing signs of being unwell. We have thermometers at reception for guests who may feel concerned they are unwell. However we ask that if any visitor feels unwell that they postpone their visit and notify us.

Will you still able to assist me with my luggage on arrival and departure?

We are always happy to help and will ensure we do so with your safety in mind, wiping down luggage before and after it has been moved and ensuring our team wash their hands. If you need assistance please let us know in advance of your arrival.
